International cooperation

The State Control Committee and its territorial bodies carry out their activities in cooperation with other state bodies, other organizations, including foreign states, international organizations and citizens." In its activities, the Committee is also guided by the provisions of the Lima Declaration of Guidelines on Auditing Precepts (1977) and the Mexico Declaration on Supreme Audit Institutions’ (SAI) Independence (2007), which are the fundamental documents of the community of public auditors around the world.

Being a member of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) since 2001 and the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) since 2002, the Committee actively develops international cooperation with SAIs of foreign countries and their international associations.

In order to exchange experience and conduct joint control activities, the Committee signed bilateral cooperation agreements with foreign SAIs.
