Since 2000, the Council of Heads of Supreme Financial Control Bodies (SAIS) of the CIS member States has been established. The members of the Council are the heads of SAIS of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
Priority areas of cooperation within the framework of the Council are:
joint development of fundamentally important theoretical and practical issues of state financial control of a regional nature;
mutual exchange of ideas, experience and information;
conducting joint and parallel bilateral and multilateral control and analytical activities;
promotion of professional training and professional development of personnel.
