Today the Republic of Belarus celebrates the Day of National Unity. It was
established on June 7, 2021 by Decree No 206 of the Head of State Alexander
Lukashenko.
The holiday is dedicated to the beginning of the liberation campaign of the
Red Army in Western Belarus in 1939, as a result of which the Belarusian
people, divided under the terms of the Riga Peace Treaty, were reunited again.
The President of Belarus has congratulated his compatriots on the Day of
National Unity and wished everyone health, good health and well-being.
