Andrei Lobovich, Deputy Chairman of the SCC, made a presentation at the
conference. As part of his speech, the Deputy Chairman of the State Control
Committee focused on the interaction between the state control bodies of
Belarus and Russia.
"Co-operation between the external state control (audit) bodies of
Belarus and Russia, including at the interregional level, is dynamically
strengthening in all areas. In modern realities, this is of particular value,’
emphasised Andrei Lobovich.
The SCC Deputy Chairman told about the joint activities carried out by the
control bodies of the two countries, including at the interregional level, as
well as shared plans for the near future:
- In the framework of the XI Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia (to be
held in Vitebsk) a special panel session of the control bodies of Belarus and
Russia (including regional ones) will be held. The main topic of the session is
innovations as the most important factor of economic security of the Union
State. A round table on the issues of openness of state control (audit) bodies
and their communication with citizens, which are in demand in the conditions of
external information challenges, will also be held. In addition, it is planned
to sign 4 co-operation agreements between the regional committees of state
control of Belarus and the control and accounting chambers of the Russian
regions.
The conference was also addressed by the leadership of the Chamber of
Accounts of Russia, the Chamber of Control and Accounts of Moscow, the VOA of
Mongolia, the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of
the Russian Federation, the Federal Treasury.
On the margins of the forum the issues of co-operation between the
territorial bodies of the SCC of Belarus and the control and accounting bodies
of the regions of the Russian Federation were discussed.
In addition, representatives of the Belarusian delegation took part in the
‘International Conference on Improving the Efficiency of Foreign Economic
Activity: the Role of Financial Control Institutions’. Within its framework,
the participants exchanged their experience on the formation of effective
institutions and mechanisms to support enterprises and organisations in foreign
markets under the current conditions.
On the sidelines of the conference the delegations of the State Control
Committee of Belarus and the Supreme Audit Institution of Mongolia also held a
working meeting.
