A delegation of the State Control Committee of Belarus, headed by First Deputy Head of the Control Department Dmitry Basko, took part in the II Eurasian Economic Forum "Eurasian Integration in a Multipolar World" held in Moscow on 24-25 May.
The forum is timed to coincide with the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of heads of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and observer states. The aim of the forum was to improve co-operative ties in the Eurasian space. The main topics of the business part of the forum were the most pressing issues of integration processes in the EAEU that are in demand by business.
On the first day of the forum, Dmitry Basko participated in the plenary session of the II Eurasian Economic Forum, which was attended by the heads of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.
On the margins of the forum, a delegation of the State Control Committee of Belarus participated in the session "Innovative Development and Growth of the EAEU Economies: Efficiency of State Institutions" organised by the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation.
The session was held in the format of a discussion with speakers.
During the session, in particular, the SAI's contribution to the formation of favourable conditions for the development of innovations and introduction of advanced technologies in the EAEU member states and their partners was discussed.
Also considered were the issues of:
ensuring the quality of public administration;
creating conditions for high-tech markets and achieving technological sovereignty;
creation of innovation clusters: support tools;
the role of development institutions in the development of innovations;
formation of an environment of constant renewal of scientific personnel, etc.
