Chairman of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov took part on May 20, 2022 in a meeting of the Postavy District Executive Committee and held a reception for the inhabitants of the district.
The meeting addressed the issues of the ongoing work on bringing unused and inefficiently used state property into economic turnover, as well as the situation with empty and dilapidated buildings in Postavy district.
Head of the SCC drew special attention to the insufficient work of the district executive committee in these areas. He noted that the district authorities should learn to sell unused objects, which will replenish the district budget.
The same day Vasily Gerasimov got acquainted with the work of JSC "Postavy Dairy Plant", where he held an on-site reception of the company employees and residents of the district.
Applicants raised questions about the possibility of resuming the work of JSC "Berezatara", which produced packaging, price regulation, providing the population with solid fuels, completing the construction of tourist infrastructure of sports and tourist complex "Ozerki", the organization of a recreation area on the Black Lake in Postavy.
In total, 8 people turned to the head of the supervisory agency for an appointment. On separate addresses explanations were given during reception. In other cases, specific instructions were given, and their implementation was taken under control.
