Leonid Anfimov took part at a meeting of the CIS Council of SAIs Heads

The delegation of the State Control Committee headed by Chairman Leonid Anfimov took part in the XVIII session of the CIS Council of of Heads of Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs). The meeting was held in Moscow (Russian Federation) on September 5, 2018. Its main theme was “Information technologies in the development and improvement of the efficiency of public administration”.

In his speech, Leonid Anfimov noted that the interdepartmental electronic interaction between government agencies and their subordinate organizations is realized in Belarus. According to him, the development of information technology significantly affects the de-bureaucratization of the state apparatus, the improvement of the population life quality and the creation of a comfortable business environment.

Leonid Anfimov stressed that the information support of the State Control Committee activities is continuously developed and improved.

In particular, the Committee is modernizing its own information system “Control activity”, created taking into account the experience of the CIS SAIs. This software and technical infrastructure allows you to automate the process of work planning, assigning, tracking, processing and monitoring the results of the monitoring and analytical activities, as well as to make the performance assessment of each employee of the Committee.

The head of the Belarusian SAI spoke about the unique information capabilities of the Financial Monitoring Department and the Financial Investigation Department of the State Control Committee.

As part of working visit to Moscow, Leonid Anfimov met with the Heads of the Supreme Audit Institutions of Russia, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.


Reference Information.

The CIS Council of SAIs Heads was established in November 2000. Currently, the Council includes the 9 Heads of SAIs. The Council was established to ensure organizational cooperation between the SAIs, to coordinate their interaction and exchange of experience.
