The forum brought together leading economists, experts, politicians, businessmen and scientists from 74 countries of the world (almost 5.5 thousand delegates).
Representatives of the State Control Committee took part in the plenary session, as well as in the session of the Accounts Committee for Control over the Execution of the Republican Budget of Kazakhstan.
In his speech at the panel session, the Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee Vasily Gerasimov focused on key national indicators and priorities of development of the Republic of Belarus.
Addressing colleagues, Vasily Gerasimov stressed that the exchange of information and experience in organizing analytical work is useful in many aspects, including for studying new methods of control (audit) activities.
The Agreement on cooperation between the State Control Committee and the Accounts Committee was signed on September 2, 2004 in Astana. The interaction of the Supreme Audit Institutions includes the exchange of experience and joint control activities. In particular, the parallel performance audit of state cultural programs is planned for the second half of 2019.
Cooperation is also carried out on a multilateral basis (within the framework of the Council of Heads of the SAIs of the CIS Member States, the international organizations INTOSAI, EUROSAI, Eurasian Economic Union).
