Representative of the State Control Committee took part in the international seminar on auditing energy and climate

The representative of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus took part in in the international seminar on auditing energy and climate, organized by the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia in Bratislava on 28 September 2017.
The event was attended by experts from the SAIs of 14 countries, including Austria, Albania, Belarus, Bulgaria, Greece, Denmark, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Estonia, as well as the permanent representative of European Commission in Slovakia and the auditor from the European Court of Auditors.
The discussion  was focused on  such issues as energy efficiency, energy independence and development of renewable energy sources.
The representative of the State Control Committee made a presentation on the topic "The role of state control in ensuring efficient use of fuel and energy resources in Belarus", in which provided information on the results achieved in the Republic of Belarus in the field of energy efficiency, as well as on the participation of the State Control Committee in resolving the issues of energy security of the country.
In the framework of event the participants discussed the best practices in the field of increasing the efficiency of use of fuel and energy resources and also shared the experiences of audits in the field of energy and climate.
