Meeting of the working group on development of state financial control standards for CIS countries was held in Minsk

The fifth meeting of the working group on development of state financial control standards for supreme audit institutions (SAIs) of CIS countries was held in Minsk on September 2-3, 2014.
This working group was formed in 2010 by the decision of X session of the Council of heads of SAI of CIS member states. Its mission is to develop a systematic methodological approaches to the implementation of control and audit activities with the use of standards of the state financial control (audit).
The documents that to be developed by the working group must be universal and in the same time must take into account the national features of the audit bodies activities, and also be easy to understand.
For a short period of activity by the working group have developed a common standard of state financial control (audit) for SAIs of CIS countries and standard "Organization and conduct of joint and parallel control activities (audits) by SAIs of CIS member states".
Currently the working group develops standards "External evaluation of the activities of SAIs of CIS countries" and "Organization and conduct of joint and parallel expert and analytical activities of SAIs of CIS countries ".
This meeting was attended by representatives of SAIs of 6 CIS countries: Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Tajikistan.
