Chairman of the State Control Committee Alexander Yakobson meets with the Auditor General of Latvia Inguna Sudraba

 The heads of SAIs of Belarus and Latvia informed each other on the main directions of activity while carrying out audits in Belarus and Latvia. They also shared experience in areas such as financial audit methodology, legislation, financial audit, planning audits. It is also planning to visit Homel region, some enterprises, meet the head of the State Control Committee of Homel region and head of the Homel Executive Committee. To facilitate the development of bilateral cooperation between the two Supreme Audit Institutions, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Riga on 25 May 2009.
