 Representatives of the Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) of Belarus and Slovakia discussed the implementation of the agreements of cooperation. The meeting was held on May 30, 2018 in Minsk with the participation of the Ambassador of Slovakia in Belarus Mr. Jozef Migas.

Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus Aleksandr Kurlypo noted with satisfaction that a constructive dialogue is developing between SAIs of two countries. For his part, the general director of the office of the Chairman of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic Mr. L'ubomír Andrassy said that the signing of the relevant memorandum will promote strengthen cooperation.

The Memorandum provides for the introduction into the work of the State Control Committee of the Audit Information System (AIS), used by SAI of the Slovak Republic.

The meeting participants also discussed the holding by the State Control Committee of Belarus and the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia of a parallel audit on the issue of electronic trading in public procurement in the social sphere. It is planned to organize training seminars for specialists of two countries. It should be noted that the performance audit of public procurement procedures will be carried out according to European standards.

The interaction of the SAIs of Belarus and Slovakia has been actively developing in recent years. The delegation of the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia participated in the session of the Council of Heads of the SAIs of the CIS countries, held in Minsk in 2016. In March 2017, a return visit of the delegation of the State Control Committee to Slovakia took place. During this visit the Agreement of cooperation between SAIs of Belarus and Slovakia was signed.

In September 2017 at the invitation of the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia, the delegation of the State Control Committee headed by Chairman Leonid Anfimov participated in the annual meeting of the heads of the SAI of the Visegrad Group, which was held in Spišská Nova Ves (Slovakia) .

In April 2018 the delegation of the State Control Committee took part in the conference "Audit - a mirror to success" and other events timed to the 25th anniversary of the formation of the Supreme Audit Office of the Slovak Republic.
