18.04.2019 Delegation of the Financial Investigation Department of the State Control Committee of Belarus is currently on a working visit to Georgia

The delegation of the Financial Investigation Department of the State Control Committee headed by the Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee - Director of the Financial Investigation Department Igor Marshalov is on a working visit to Georgia.

During the visit, it is planned to discuss the priority areas of cooperation with the Investigation Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia and to develop measures aimed at countering tax (financial) offenses and corruption crimes in the economic sphere.

In addition, it is planned to consider issues of counteracting tax evasion schemes and unjustified VAT refund, curbing the illegal turnover of an excisable group of goods, identifying offenses in public procurement, as well as to study the Georgian experience of the use of IT technologies in operational activities.
