Belarusian students brought awards from International Olympiad on financial security which was held at the Sirius center in Sochi (Russia). In total, 500 high and higher school students from Belarus, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and India took part in the intellectual competition. Belarus team was represented by 9 students of the Belarusian state university and the Belarusian economic university. The participants competed in the following lines: finances and loans, economic and informational security, jurisprudence, international relations. By the results of the competitions, Belarus team won 4 awards.
It should be noted that the organizers of the qualifying stage of the Olympiad in Belarus was the Financial Monitoring Department of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
The international event was initiated by the Federal Financial Monitoring Service of Russia.
The 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of Financial Intelligence Units (FIU) of the CIS member states and the 15th meeting of the International Network Institute in the field of AML / CFT were also held during the Olympiad. All news
