Ludmila Mudrova, Head of the Control of Finance of Integration Structures and Foreign Economic Activities of the State Control Committee participated in the meeting of the Commission on Budget and Finance of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, which took place on March 23, 2022 in Minsk. The results of the Union State budget execution for 2021 and the current period of 2022, the problems of the Union State programs development, the accounting of the Union State property and other issues were discussed at the session. The participants of the joint session discussed the performance of the Union State budget, the progress of preparation of the Union State programs and projects to be financed in 2022 and 2023, organization of work on accounting of the property created and acquired with the Union State budget during the implementation of the programs and projects. The representative of the State Control Committee of Belarus informed the participants of the session about the terms of the external audit of the Union State budget execution in 2021 and the preparation of the relevant conclusion. The problems of delaying the development of programs and projects, the lack of a mechanism for operating budget management, which would allow to deposit temporarily free funds, accounting of the Union State property were noted. Also there was reviewed the progress of implementation of the provisions of the Decree of the Supreme State Council of the Union State No. 6 "On the main directions of implementation of the provisions of the Treaty on the Creation of the Union State for 2021-2023".
