Deputy Chairman of the State Control Committee Raisa Savritskaya met with a group of World Bank experts.
In the meeting took part World Bank experts Elena Nikulina (Russia), Mark Silins (Australia) and Andrew Mackie (UK) who arrived in Minsk two weeks ago to assess the effectiveness of public financial management in Belarus. The process of assessment is carried out on the basis of the methodology of the program "Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability."
The participants of the meeting discussed the issues in the sphere of external and internal audit. The attention was also given to effectiveness of financial audit and performance of measures based on its results. At the meeting was also discussed coordination plans of audit and monitoring of their implementation by control (supervisory) bodies of Belarus.
International experts received answers to questions about the effectiveness of spending and control in procurement field.
During the meeting was also discussed the control of general financial risks related with public sector activities. <>BRWorld Bank experts will continue the assessment of effectiveness of public financial management in the Republic of Belarus before the end of the year. All news
